Teaching Place Value is one of the first feats for 4th graders. The concept of numbers to the millions is sometimes a difficult and abstract concept for kids. So for this week’s Made it Monday, I created this bundle to help the students ease into math in an interactive way. This comprehensive Place Value Set is perfect for teaching this difficult standard. Aligned with common core, this set covers Standard Form, Expanded Form, Word Form, comma placement, and even touches on rounding.
Here is what it included!
Expanded, Word and Standard Form Sort! Great for partner or individual work!
Partner or Center Work!
This is a big one for the kiddos! Placing that darned comma in the correct place!
The kids will LOVE this game! Great to start comparing and reviewing all the different forms!
I have, Who Has is such a great game, why not do it with PLACE VALUE! The kids will be masters in this standard in no time!
Of course you will need some cutesy labels for Anchor Charts, Bulletin Boards and your Math Word Wall!
Having a Number of the Day will help reinforce this Standard day in and day out!
A Place Value Mat is GREAT for conferencing with students. You can also stick it in a sheet protector for center work activities!
and a little bit of bunting goes a LONG way on your bulletin boards!
I am so excited to work with my class this week with this activity pack. It is perfect for Centers while I pull kids individually! Check it out here! On SALE now!
Thank you Tara from Fun in Room 4B for hosting this amazing Linky week to week!

Great packet! We only go up to ten thousands and amazingly my class was doing really well with it… until they took their test! I think it is because I was out of the room when they took it… we will be having a discussion about that!
