Educents $15 Frenzy!

September 15, 2013 By fancyfreein4th

Have you heard of Educents? Educents is like groupon or VeryJane but for Teachers! It bundles together great products and sells them at a discounted rate for a week or so. I bundled together some of my language arts top sellers in a pack I called, “Language Arts is a Hoot!”

Language Arts is a Hoot is a set of four comprehensive products that support students in grades 3-5 by giving them the tools to tackle four tricky ELA concepts that interfere with reading comprehension:

Root Words

Understanding root words gives students the tools they need to decode new words that they encounter while reading. This is a set of 60 of the most commonly used root words and format to present them to your class in an easy and meaningful way, weekly!  Full retail value of $4.00 and 48 pages are included.
 Idioms
Let’s cut to the chase…Your class will love uncovering the meaning of those silly English phrases that make no sense in this easy to use, daily idiom activity.  Full retail value of $4.50 and 20 pages are included.
  Figurative Language

Help your students fall head over heals with Figurative language. This set is chalked full of teaching resources, games and activities that will help your students identify, interpret and use various figurative language forms.   Full retail value of $4.00 and 39 pages are included.
 and Homonyms
Students will love this quick and fun activity that will only take 5 minutes per day!  Streamline the instruction of homonyms and teach them all year long instead of in one specific lesson!  Full retail value of $4.00 and 64 pages are included.
Each set is easy to implement into your classroom routine and is great for group, partner or individual assessments. You will see your students grow and understand these tricky standards while having fun in the process.

You can get all the amazing products listed below for only $9.99! That’s a 39% discount!

There’s so much advice I would tell first year- There’s so much advice I would tell first year- teacher-me…. Especially after the last (almost) 2 years of teaching; barely afloat. This year is so hard. I have to stop regularly and tell my student teacher, “it’s never been like this”. But to my core, it’s always been- children first, relationships first, or nothing else matters. Though this year is tough in new ways, there’s still much hope and laughter each day. Thanks @eveleon26 for reminding me of my first, wonderful year of teaching- so I can bring that energy, excitement each day- no matter the circumstance. For all of my teacher friends out there, I see you- I know it’s hard- and I’m grateful for you. (P.S-it’s almost winter break, you got this!) #tiredteacher #cleareyesfullheartscantlose
