It wouldn’t be Friday without sharing our Fabulous Finds! I am linking up again with the wonderful Elizabeth from Fun in 4b for this week’s edition of Fabulous Find Friday.

This weeks I found some amazing things at Dollar Tree and Michaels. Before I share, I must admit that didn’t I know about Dollar Tree for the past 6 years? Why isn’t a field trip to Dollar Tree mandatory for all new teachers as part of their credential/student teaching assignment? Anyways, I happenstanced on this dollar wonderland last year when I was on social committee. For our last event of the year ( a retirement luau in honor my master teacher!) we went to Dollar Tree to get some decorations and my mind was B-L-O-W-N.  Here are some of my finds from both Michaels and the Dollar Tree.

I found some cute felt owls, magnetic bathroom passes, chevron duct tape and owl ribbon, which I will use for the AR trackers I am making (will be featured on the up and coming Made it Monday!). I found both division and multiplication cards as well as mini staplers at Dollar Tree! I will be putting one of each in my table caddies. The awesome chevron fabric is from Amazon, but it just came in the mail and I had to share. 
While Penelope is asleep I will organize! I have been setting up shop at home as much as I can.
 Since I am relocating schools, most of my classroom is packed in bins waiting to be transferred over to my new site. I housed some of my stuff in my garage but I am frantically waiting to go set up my new room.  My new school is being renovated this summer, so the campus is closed until August 10th…  and we start on the 22nd. EEK! I have been stressing about it a little bit, talk about crazy classroom dreams! BUT my husband keeps reminding me that it will all work out! In the meantime you better believe I am working every chance I get at home. Above are the table caddies that are filled with supplies, all purchased from Target. In the back is  my Teacher’s Toolbox- minus all the cute labels that I am trying to make… Perhaps I will figure it out for Monday.
What do you guys put in your team/table caddies?

  3. I have to different sets of table caddies. One set has markers, crayons and pencils. The other has glue and scissors (these only go on the tables when students actually need those supplies).

    I love the dollar store. Especialy being able to buy large amounts of stickers.

  4. You've found some awesome stuff!! I can't believe you can't get in until the 10th!! That is not enought time! BUT, I guess it will have to be! Good luck 🙂

  5. Janaye! I know, I plan on working from sunrise to sunset on the 10th! My husband is really good at doing bulletin boards- I just need to find a sitter for my daughter! My personality is I want to get it done ASAP even if it takes me all day- kind of like I hate making 2 trips with all my grocery bags…
