January Currently!

January 2, 2013 By fancyfreein4th

Welcome 2013! I have high hopes for you. Today I am linking up with Farley for her fun Currently linky.

I have been in the midst of unpacking, moving and renovating our new house. This is a lot more difficult than expected because:
1) I am 4 months pregnant- which means I can’t move heavy things or do things that have fumes.
2) My year and a half year old wants to be EVERYWHERE she shouldn’t be. We are working in every room of the house but hers and ours, but of course she wants to be out exploring our new digs. Plus it is hard to get any work done when she is in tote. Thank goodness for local family and friends who have helped us with Penny and helped us with the house.
3) There is a lot more to fix than we expected… and time is something that we do not have a lot of.

It is hard to stay optimistic and be excited about all of these blessings when there is sooo much to do and sooo much that I can’t do. That is why my OLW is PATIENCE. I need to stay patient during this transitional time and keep things in perspective. We are very lucky to be able to buy a house and we have felt so much support and love from our family and friends….

I can’t wait to see what everyone else’s CURRENTLY says. Cheers to a great year!

I hear you on the moving. We have moved 10 times in 16 years! Yep, you heard me right. 10 times!!!! I expect to move again in the next five or so years but am happy it is not right now!

I like your word. Patience is something I have lots of at school but little of at home. I use it all up with the 6 year olds!!!!

    Hi,
found you through the Currently link up. Wow! I thought I had it made being off until the 7th. Good luck with the moving, redecorating, etc. We just moved on 11/29 and I went right into Christmas mode, so now I am working on taking those decorations down and decorating for my 'everyday life."
Congrats also on your pregnancy! 2013 will be a great year for you!

Wow…you don't go back until Jan. 14th? Wow! I certainly understand you not wanting to move again! Congratulations on the new baby 🙂

    Happy New Year!
