Monday Made It- with a Newborn

July 29, 2013 By fancyfreein4th

I loved participating in Tara from Fourth Grade Frolics linky last summer, but it has been difficult to get much done this summer since I am busy with my 2 year old and my newborn.  TODAY I am ecstatic to share one and boy do I feel accomplished!

A week or so ago I shared my Pocket Full of Synonyms

Here they are at my TpT store.
This week I was able to laminate, cut, and assemble them.  Check out how cute they turned out…

I will have to run all over to see if I can find another pack of the fry containers in the dollar section of Target because I didn’t buy enough.  My Pocket Full of Synonyms set has 31 words and I only bought 25 fry containers.  I can’t wait to put these up in my classroom!

Oh, and in case  you were wondering what prepping these with a newborn looks like…

Thanks to Eli, my little 7 week old assistant, for his help cooperation!

I am trying to think of a fun heading for this bulletin board.  Leave a comment with your suggestion and the one that I like the most will get  this set for free! Don’t forget to leave your email!

Thanks for checking out my first Monday Made it of the Summer.

What a cute idea for synonyms..perfect for writing pieces. Let's see a title could be: Frying Up Some Synonyms .
    Hope that helps.
Your little guy did a great job helping you!

    This is a great idea!

"Would you like some synonyms with that?"

It's kind of long, but it's cute I think 🙂

The idea of already having synonyms prepared is genius! That way your bulletin board is truly useful not just pretty. How bout: Try a Word Flip Fry!

Love your idea…how about Seasoned Synonyms for your title. Your plate is full with 2 little ones! I hope you don't have too many middle of the night wake ups. I hope you have a great year.
