November Currently!

November 10, 2013 By fancyfreein4th

Happy November! This whole working full time, being a mom of 2 thing is really cutting into my blogging time!  I keep hoping for more time to share my classroom ideas but I need to set time aside to do it rather than just wish that magically it will happen. That being said, I am linking up with Farley from Oh’ Boy Fourth Grade and her FANTASTIC Currently Linky:

Listening: Happy 5 months to my baby boy Eli! I fall more and more in love with you everyday! We are trying to sleep train him to sleep without being swaddled because he is getting so big.  He continuously wakes up by wacking himself in the face! He is in the middle of his morning nap and sawing logs, which is music to my ears!

Loving:  A friend from high school, whom I haven’t seen in 11 years, took our family pictures this past weekend while she was visiting in California. I am DYING over the sneak peeks that she sent me.  Take a look:

My littles!

I could kiss this face alllll day!

Swoon!

Thinking: Was anyone else surprised that the day after Halloween Starbucks brought out their red holiday cups and Target transformed into Christmasland!?!?  I felt the overwhelming pressure to start shopping! All I have to say is “Thank goodness for online shopping and Amazon Prime!”

Wanting: More time in the day. There is just not enough time to do all the things I have to do! You should see the laundry that has accumulated over the past couple of weeks. It is ridiculous! I am so grateful to have tomorrow off to play catch up!

Needing: Our report card window just opened up and I need to get started inputing grades and comments little by little. I still have a stack of papers I need to finish grading too! Thank goodness we have access to our online grades at home! Does anyone else feel like the first third of the school year has flown by, or is it just me?

A Yummy Pin: Two things I love in the world of cooking are Martha Stewart and Soup! Soup is my favorite food. I LOVE it… and I can’t wait until Southern California will surrender to fall/winter weather. I am over it being 80 something degrees and I want boots, scarves and SOUP! This is one of my most favorite soups- Chipotle Sweet Potato. MMMMMMMMM Get in my BELLY now.

I am so excited to read everyone’s Currently! Off I go!

I agree — it is amazing how quickly everything transformed into Christmas on November 1st! It's like the elves stayed up late after the werewolves went to sleep so they could change everything over.

Ughhh….that means time is going so quickly!!!

Love the pictures of your beautiful family! Enjoy this time!!
