Secretaries Day & Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

April 27, 2016 By fancyfreein4th

Administrative Assistants Day -aka- Secretaries Day is one of those days that many teachers can easily forget about during this CRAZY time of the school year. BUT it is an important day because the secretaries have a LOT on their plate.  They are not only secretaries at my school but they are translators, nurses, a warm welcome at the door, outreach vessels, attendance monitors, field trip organizers, and masters of organization. Without them, my job would be a lot more difficult.  I try to give them something extra special each holiday, whether it be a sweet treat for Halloween or some hanitizer for the beginning of the school year, just to let them know that they are appreciated.

The perfect gift for Teacher Appreciation, Secretaries Day or anything in between.Looking for a great gift for anybody? This combines nails, the Target Dollar Spot and a free printable to go with!

This year I wanted to make them feel a little Fancy… I got this adorable idea from Miss Kindergarten’s Thank You Gift to the fabulous girls who threw her baby shower. I got all of the supplies from Target. I am obsessed with Essie nail polish and I thought this was a fab Spring Color for these hardworking ladies.  The twine was from the dollar spot and these punny tags were free from Here Comes the Sun’s blog.  This gift  can be used for ANYONE at ANYTIME of the year.
Last year I gave them these adorable drink dispensers filled with lemons from my tree and some lemonade packets. You can grab these labels free here!

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Day and I always get my grade level team a little Thank You gift. This year I am giving them one of my favorite things- Washi Tape! I found a lot of cute options at teh Target Dollar Spot.

Looking for an adorable Teacher Appreciation Day gift for your coworkers or your child's teacher? Look no further! Grab this adorable freebie and head to the Target Dollar Spot and you're GOLDEN!

I found these labels for FREE on Elevate Everydays website. I added them to some Zip-lock Snack baggies and viola- instant cuteness! They are going to love this little gift.
AND speaking of gift ideas, there is another big day just around the corner- Mother’s Day!  I have a perfect activity for my kiddos to do during testing week to help celebrate their mamas (or grandmas).

A fun Mother's Day activity for your students to share just how special their mom is.

The kids will choose 4 of their favorite things about their mom OR they can share some favorite memories they have of them in this fun Instagram-esque activity. It makes an adorable card or gift for moms, aunties or grandmas.  Check it out here for more details and a closer look.
Spreading some sunshine to people to let them know how much they are appreciated never gets old, so spread some love to those who help you be awesome everyday!

Are they rolls of tape inside the Baggie? I’m not seeing where it says that specifically. Also u can’t get the printable to save.
