Weekly Objectives Posters are a Hoot!

July 18, 2012 By fancyfreein4th

Whoo’s on top of their Learning Objectives? Well, now I am. Do you have to post your learning objectives each week? Hopefully these posters will help make this daunting task easy and beautiful!
Just laminate and post in an area that is easily seen by students, parents,
other teachers and of course your principal, that way they can see which standards you
are working on.  Each week, you can write on the posters with a dry erase marker and then when you are done with that skill/standard in particular you can erase it and write the next one. Tada!  They
are easy to change, cute and shows everyone who walks in your room that you are prepared.

I made these posters for all the core subjects: reading, writing, math, science and social studies and bundled them in my TpT store for you all to take a look at.

Thanks to 3Am Teacher for the borders!

There’s so much advice I would tell first year- There’s so much advice I would tell first year- teacher-me…. Especially after the last (almost) 2 years of teaching; barely afloat. This year is so hard. I have to stop regularly and tell my student teacher, “it’s never been like this”. But to my core, it’s always been- children first, relationships first, or nothing else matters. Though this year is tough in new ways, there’s still much hope and laughter each day. Thanks @eveleon26 for reminding me of my first, wonderful year of teaching- so I can bring that energy, excitement each day- no matter the circumstance. For all of my teacher friends out there, I see you- I know it’s hard- and I’m grateful for you. (P.S-it’s almost winter break, you got this!) #tiredteacher #cleareyesfullheartscantlose
