Lllama Back to School Get to Know you Craftivity

August 28, 2017 By fancyfreein4th

This year I am teaching 5th grade and six of my #Schenrysclass veterans will be looping with me.  So besides redoing my entire room (classroom reveal post coming soon), I also needed to come up with a new first week activity so that my six returning students would be engaged. I fell onto the llama train, because I mean, how cute are they?

I created a little Llama Back to school Get to Know You Craftivity for the kids to complete during the first week of school.  It was kind of a play on words- I love a good pun.

In Spansh, “¿Cómo se llama?” Means “What is your name?” I figured, this Back to School Craftivity, is a perfect way to get to know my new group of students. They got to share a little bit about themselves, build classroom community and I gtt a super, cute bulletin board out of it too! #winwin

I used the This Class is a Llama Fun bulletin board set from Apples and ABCs.

Included in this set :
-12 response prompts for you to pick and choose from, also 4 editable ones to customize with your own questions AND Spanish version
-2 llama options to glue/staple them onto
-3 cover pages to choose from for the ansered prompts
-3 Bulletin board headings

The students loved it and it was perfect for Back to School Night.
